There are a lot of questions for simple and clean basic themes on drupal, in the mailinglists and on the irc channel.

This is my attempt.

This theme is a cleaned up version of my three column version of the theme for this site. It is a tableless, fluid layout for full screen goodness that is tested in msie, opera and firefox and you can convert it to a centered fixed width layout by editing a single line in the CSS file. The colours I used are totally separated from the rest, so even that is prepared for your creativity.

A test version is downloadable here... it is usable, if you like that superclean look.
